Hitachi and REE partner up to simplify the adoption of EV Vehicles around the world

Hitachi and REE Automotive have announced that they have come to a strategic agreement to make the adoption of Electric vehicles easier and quicker across the EV Value Chain. They have agreed to work on many issues such as manufacturing at scale, building charging infrastructure, management of energy, and delivering a complete digit fleet management for full visibility across EV fleets.

Hitachi and REE, via their collaboration, will hasten up their development of new digital services and solutions for REE customers by developing a highly scalable Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) and Analytics-as-a-Service (AaaS) platform. By combining Hitachi’s Lumada data platform and REE’s modularity of its platforms and horizontal business strategy, the companies have been working to deliver a service that is a combination of the above-stated characteristics of their respective companies and deliver it to users.
