A leading supplier of Smart Glasses and Augmented Reality technology and products, Vuzix Corporation, has announced its partnership with Verizon. Vuzix will now be able to borrow and utilize Verizon’s 5G capabilities and edge computing technologies to design and deliver the first augmented reality experience for sports and gaming.
This partnership will allow increased focus on the advancement of technologies and commercialization aspects of developing and delivering an immersive, realistic augmented reality experience. These experiences will be backed by Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband Service and edge computing services.
